Llumir Nobella Peña, 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 11, 2017. Originally from Dominican Republic and resided in Pennsauken NJ. As a single mother of 5, Llumir dedicated her life to her precious family and was a retired State employee with the Division of Youth and Family Services. Llumir was the daughter of the late Rafael Bautista Gomez and Maria Eugenia Peña. Left to carry on her legacy are her beloved children, Elvis O. Frias, Edward Frias, Affil Cruz, Kendale Nick Corporan and Glenis Contreras; brothers, Rafael Peña and Reynaldo Peña; grandchildren, Elvira, Yaridania, Yarilyn, Orlando, Eddie, Priscilla, Andy, Giovani, Jocelyn, Nayelis, Solimar, Kendale, Leilani, Isabella, Aiden; and 13 loving great grandchildren and beloved canine companion Nore. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Llumir's remembrance service on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the Funeraria Hernandez (Inglesby and Son's Funeral Home) located at 2426 Cove Rd in Pennsauken, NJ 08109. From 10am to 12pm followed with a funeral remembrance service. Entombment will be held at Arlington Cemetery located at 1620 Cove Rd in Pennsauken, NJ 08110. In lieu of flowers, the family requests for all who will attend Llumir's service to please bring in an unwrapped toy for Pennsauken Township Angel Tree, to be donated in Llumir's name. The family also requests for donations to be made in Llumir's name to the St. Jude children's research hospital at stjude.org. Following the entombment, the family cordially invites everyone to join them at the celebration of Llumir's life. At the Vera Restaurant and Lounge, Route 70, in Cherry Hill, NJ 08002.
