John "Jack" Baker

May 28, 1929 - October 4, 2016

Jack Baker, age 87, of Cinnaminson, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 4th, 2016. He was the son of the late Dora and Jack Durham, Camden, NJ. Jack worked for Thomson and Lamination in Maple Shade for 49 years as a tool and die maker. He was the former President of PYAA soccer, was active in PYAA baseball, and coached football and baseball for the Pyne Point Athletic Association. Jack enjoyed playing golf and traveling to Germany and Atlantic City with his wife. He will be deeply missed. Jack is predeceased by his beloved wife, Margaret Baker and his sister, Ella Glenn. He is survived by his children, John J. Baker and his wife Alice, and Kathy Baker; grandchildren, Shelby, Liam and Ethan; and siblings, Walter Baker, Ike Baker, and Kay Maguire. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Monday, October 10, 2016 from 9:30am-11:30am at First United Methodist Church of Haddon Heights, located at 704 Garden St., Haddon Heights, NJ 08035. A funeral service will begin at 11:30am at the church. Jack will be laid to rest on Wednesday, October at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
