Janet D. Hurlburt Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Janet D. Hurlburt, affectionately known as Babe, passed away on November 27, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to Al and Janet (nee Wisniewski) Hurlburt. Babe was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary AMVETS Post 101 in Delair, where she cooked Thanksgiving dinner for 20 years. She was selfless, always making sure everyone else was taken care of. Babe will be remembered as the best sister and dearest friend anyone could ask for. She will be deeply missed. Janet is predeceased by her husband, Anthony Hiltner and mother, Janet W. Hurlburt. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Niessen (Jay); father, Al Hurlburt, siblings, Dennis Hurlburt (Vicki) an d Dawn Gandy (the late Charles); grandchildren, Joey, Dale, and Elizabeth; great grandchildren, Lilly and Bryce; and many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 10am-12pm at Inglesby and Sons Funeral Home, located at 2425 Cove Rd., Pennsauken, NJ 08109. A funeral service will begin at 12pm at the funeral home. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society by visiting cancer.org.
