James M. Maggioncalda Sr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

James M. Maggioncalda, Sr., age 94, of Pennsauken, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 18, 2017. James is predeceased by his beloved wife of 64 years, Katherine Maggioncalda (nee Dougherty). He is survived by his children, James (Ella), Kathy (Ted) Barrett, Chris (Charlie) McGee, John, Maureen (Pat) Carey, and Michael (Delores); 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 2 sisters; Ruth (Frank) Bruno and Joan Ernst. Born in Philadelphia, James graduated from St. Joe's Prep in 1940. He went on to proudly serve his country in the Navy during World War II. James was an avid Phillies fan. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on April 25, 2017 from 9:30am-10:30am at Inglesby & Sons Funeral Home, located at 2426 Cove Rd., Pennsauken, NJ 08109. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11am at St. Stephen Church in Pennsauken. James will be laid to rest with his beloved wife at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Wrightstown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. John of God Community Services at 1145 Delsea Dr., Westville, NJ 08093.
