Herminio Rivera, 70, of Pennsauken, NJ, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022 at the Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Browns Mills, NJ. He was born in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico in 1951. He was cared for and raised by Carmen Santiago and her husband; Francisco. In 1970, he left Puerto Rico and settled in Philadelphia, PA. He spent most of his life in Philly, before moving to NJ. He spent the last 25 years as a resident of Pennsauken, NJ. Herminio had a strong Catholic faith. He had a passion for driving and worked for many years as a truck driver, delivering flowers to local florists. He was always punctual and would usually show up early. He loved to dance and enjoyed many family cookouts. He was a great host and loved to feed his family and friends. Herminio spent the last 30 years with his wife; Sandra Camacho, who he leaves to cherish his memory. Also surviving are his children; Herminio Rivera, Jr., Janet Colon, William Rivera, Lillian Rivera, Tony Rivera, Raul Beltran, Jr., Lillian Beltran and Camilla Beltran, his siblings; Maggie Santiago, Janette Veas, Francisco Santiago, Daniel Santiago , Melvin Santiago, Julio Santiago, Hector Burgos, Dorcas Lopez, Carmen Rivera, Nereida Rivera, his grandchildren, as well as many extended family and friends both in the US and Puerto Rico. Friends and relatives may gather on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 10:00am - 12:00pm at Inglesby & Sons Funeral Home, 2426 Cove Road, Pennsauken, NJ 08109. A funeral service will begin at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Arlington Cemetery, Pennsauken, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in Herminio's honor, to the Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Browns Mills, NJ.
