Clarence W. "Bill" Gill, age 85, of Mullica Hill, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 18, 2016. He was born to the late Clarence Sr. and Bessie Gill in Martinsburg, WV. Bill proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Claims Administrator for the Social Security Administration Department of Health and Human Services. Bill is the eldest member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Camden, where he also plays the organ. At one time, he was the eldest playing organist in the tri-state area. Bill was involved in many charitable organizations throughout the years. Above all, he was loving and devoted to God, church, and family; he will be deeply missed. Bill is predeceased by his wife of 49 years, Anna Gill and his daughter, Debbie Young. He is survived by his children, Liz Shockley and her husband Steven, and Lisa Malkin and David; son in law, David Young and his wife Ronee; and 6 grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 9am-11am at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, located at 422 Market St., Camden, NJ 08102. A funeral ceremony will begin at 11am at the church. A private internment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
